The AutoWallis Group is conducting an acquisition of key importance to its strategy and margin generation capabilities by agreeing with the Nelson Group on the purchase of its fleet management division. In addition to expanding its market, the step is also important because it brings a significant profit-making activity to the automotive company registered on the Hungarian stock exchange. The acquisition is yet another step in the direction of expanding mobility services and, in addition to providing services with a good margin, it results in important synergies for the Group.

AutoWallis Group’s revenue and profits have set new records in the first three quarters after the automotive company registered on the stock exchange enjoyed excellent results during the summer months as well. Moreover, revenue and profits for the first three quarters significantly surpassed the figures for all of last year. The Company’s revenue grew by almost 50 percent and its net profits almost quadrupled in nine months. Earnings per share amounted to HUF 17.3, which is almost double the amount for all of last year. The excellent figures are primarily attributable to the consistent implementation of the growth strategy, thus to organic and acquisition-based growth as well as to a tight budget management, but individual effects also manifest themselves within these results.

The AutoWallis Group is continuing its path of growth after all business units experienced double-digit growth in all areas in the first nine months of the year, with sales in many areas already higher than last year as a whole. This means that the crisis-resistant strategy of the Group, present in 14 countries in the region, has allowed it to break with domestic and international trends and continue along the path of realizing its plans. In the first three quarters, AutoWallis’s vehicle sales grew by 27.1 percent, with the number of service hours also seeing a similar rate of growth. Vehicle rentals experienced even greater growth: the number of rental events increased by 64 percent and the number of rental days by 31 percent.

These announcements are in line with AutoWallis’s strategy announced last year, the aim of which remains to more than double 2021 revenue to over HUF 400 billion by 2025.

These excellent results are not unique but are part of a long-term trend; accordingly, AutoWallis also expects to set new records in all areas for the year as a whole.

The AutoWallis Group is breaking records in all of its business segments, with 60 percent of last year’s total annual vehicle sales already achieved in the first six months of this year. The group, which is present in 14 countries in the region, sold 15,379 vehicles in the first half of the year, up 32 percent on the previous year, despite the series of difficulties experienced by the automotive industry. At 44 percent, the greatest growth was seen by the Distribution Business Unit, with the vehicle sales of the Retail & Services Business Unit also seeing growth above 10 percent and the number of service hours increasing by 24 percent. The Group’s vehicle rental division also performed well even before the summer peak season: the number of rental events more than doubled and the number of rental days increased by almost a quarter.

AutoWallis Group, present in 14 countries in the region, closed the first quarter with growth that far exceeded the market average and an exceptional improvement in efficiency. The Group’s net earnings increased more than five-fold to HUF 1.9 billion, its EBITDA more than doubled to HUF 3.1 billion, and its revenue increased by 18 percent. This growth was organic only, driven mainly by the expansion of the Distribution Business Unit.

In line with its strategic plans, AutoWallis sales set new records in all areas in 2021. The Group is present in 14 countries in the region and tripled its figures from the previous year, selling more than 25 thousand vehicles last year. Within this figure, the sales of the Retail & Services Business Unit more than doubled to 8.5 thousand and sales of the Distribution Business Unit quadrupled to 16.5 thousand. The vehicle rental sector also showed strong figures: after the drop due to the pandemic in the previous year, the number of rental days exceeded 2019 levels, increasing by more than one and a half times to over 164 thousand in 2021. The number of service hours also showed a positive trend, doubling to over 130 thousand. The Group’s explosive growth was thanks to both organic development and its transactions.
