The AutoWallis Group campaigns for safe driving
2023.05.19.

Wallis Motor, a member of the AutoWallis Group, has launched a campaign in partnership with the Budapest Police Headquarters to curb the number of speeding-related accidents, calling attention to the fact that our streets are not for racing. The automotive company registered on the Hungarian stock exchange actively supports its member companies in representing issues of social importance.
Wallis Motor, the motorcycle supply partner of the Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK) and a member of the AutoWallis Group, has prepared a special video with the BRFK Budapest Committee for Accident Prevention in the interest of decreasing the number of accidents associated with speeding. The educational video features two motor officers serving the BRFK alongside motorcycle racer and MotoGP world champion Gábor Talmácsi and four-time European Truck Racing champion Norbert Kiss. The AutoWallis subsidiary and the BRFK decided to make the traffic safety video because the data of the Central Statistical Office shows that a total of 20,752 accidents took place on Hungarian roads, of which more than 10 thousand lead to serious injury and more than one thousand resulted in deaths. Police data also show that drag races are still common on public roads. Wallis Motor wants to set an example to show that cars made for racing should be used in their proper environment, and that car dealerships should also participate in calling attention to the fact that driving their products is just as much a responsibility as a joy. As the AutoWallis Group is committed to sustainable operations and social values, it was the first among Premium Category companies to develop a Green Finance Framework and also published its first sustainability report (ESG) in which it reviewed its operations, identified the main processes linked to sustainable operations, and redesigned its internal information system necessary for generating reports. AutoWallis plans to acquire an ESG rating by the end of 2024.
