AutoWallis Group’s car sharing provider, wigo carsharing is revamping its pricing structure
2025.03.31.

Wigo carsharing, a part of the AutoWallis Group's Mobility Services is reshaping its pricing strategy to better serve user needs.
The wigo carsharing brand was launched in October 2023, with the service itself operating in Budapest for more than five years.
The wigo carsharing fleet includes nearly 500 cars, including premium cars and light commercial vehicles capable of carrying larger packages. The company has so far used a per-minute charging system, which will now be replaced by a mileage-based pricing for journeys within 1 hour.
„ We conducted market research among our users and users of other car sharing services and based on the feedback we received, there was a significant demand for the introduction of mileage-based billing” – said Richárd Sáreczky, Chief Operating Officer of wigo carsharing. “The new pricing structure makes short-term car rental more predictable, as users don’t have to worry about how much time they have to spend in traffic during the afternoon peak or on a weekend day, for example. This gives our users peace of mind and more freedom, as it results in a service that is better adapted to their needs.”
Longer, hourly and daily rentals will also offer more flexibility, as time-based charges will be significantly reduced and users will now only pay for the kilometers actually driven. Wigo’s new pricing structure will be available to users from the afternoon hours on 31 March.
The AutoWallis Group’s Mobility Business provides access-based services through wigo fleet, carsharing as well as Sixt car rental.
