Announced in September 2025, AutoWallis acquired the distribution rights for XPENG in Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia, together with its Portuguese partner, the Salvador Caetano Group. The experience and knowledge of this partnership ensure the highest level of services and customer centricity for the newly launched Chinese EV brand in the 3 Central-European markets.

Founded in China in 2014, XPENG aspires to become a global leader in AI mobility, with the mission to advance the revolution of smart electric vehicles with cutting-edge technology, actively shaping the future of mobility.

Participants at the opening event were given a glimpse into XPENG’s advanced range of products. In addition to the stylish and fast-charging G6, the versatile G9, and the brand-new P7+, attendees were treated to an exclusive surprise: the regional premiere of the X9, an ultra-intelligent, seven-seat, large-sized model with a futuristic exterior that evokes classic MPVs with its spacious interior.

Gábor Ormosy, CEO of AutoWallis, emphasized at the opening: “Premium Chinese car brands with purely electric drivetrains, such as XPENG, are important additions to AutoWallis’ portfolio to complement the offering of traditional European manufacturers.
